John Conty, the Principal, has been in post for 5 years and inherited a very stable senior leadership team. He is keen to work with them to challenge their role in leading the culture of the school. As a team, they are thoughtful and reflective and on previous occasions have responded well to external facilitation to help them ‘peel back the layers’ of what can sometimes feel like well rehearsed routines, perhaps even complacency.
In providing professional development in this area, the Principal wants to place himself alongside the other members of his executive team rather than being “out the front”. To achieve that aim he asks MarlowJones to facilitate a workshop as part of the team’s regular termly “Creating the Future” conference.
